Gail’s Weight Loss Centre now carries and promotes Extra Virgin Coconut Oil.

Coconut oil has received a bad rap in the weight loss world.  With plenty of research I have developed a passion for the product.

Coconut Oil truly is one of nature’s miracle foods.  I highly recommend it for weight loss, hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and a long list of other health benefits.

Coconut oil contains what are called medium chain fatty acids, or medium chain triglycerides (MCTs).  Most other vegetable oils are composed of long chain fatty acids which are stored in the body as fat, these MCTs are burned for energy, and they burn up quickly in the body.  They increase your metabolism rate and therefore lead to weight loss.
